ALIMENTARIA 2010

 

ALIMENTARIA is the largest International Exhibition of Food & Beverages in Spain and one of the most important on an international level. The 18th Edition will take place from the 22nd to the 26th of March in the Barcelona Exhibition Centre (Fira de Barcelona) Fira de Barcelona. This exhibition shall showcase the latest developments in the international food industry, distribution channels, logistic solutions and consumer tastes.

An impressive 5,000 companies dealing in the manufacturing and distribution of foods and beverages, together with auxiliary sectors to the alimentary sector shall be on hand to present their products and services to an estimated 150,000 professional buyers from over 155 countries attending this event.

The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs has promoted a Trade Mission for companies from the Netherlands to be present in the ALIMENTARIA Exhibition Fair. Their aim is for Dutch companies to meet with Spanish companies which fit their client profile; whether they are producers, distributors, importers, wholesalers or retailers.

Having already shared an enduring relationship, COSEREX and NEC (Nederlandse Export Combinatie) have once again joined to organize the Trade Mission for the participating companies and coordinating the visit for the Dutch Ministry.

  • Chicken
  • Margarine, vegetable fats and oils
  • Berries
  • Frozen desserts

  • Aromatic and medicinal herbs
  • Soft drinks and fruit juices
  • Food ingredients

COSEREX is going to guide the Dutch companies throughout their stay in Barcelona in order to optimize their investment. These companies shall be traveling to Spain with a common goal, to meet and converse with Spanish companies regarding possible business relations.
