What are the sectors that will be developed in Morocco?
Multiple. For example, renewable energy. The government started with the construction of windmills parks in northern Morocco. Now, in February there will be made a tender for the first photovoltaic power plants for different seasons.

What are the Government's objectives?
Morocco buys 97 percent of its energy. We want to reduce this percentage by twenty percent in 2015. We are also very ambitious on environmental projects . A law was enacted to preserve the environment. This means that it will promote, for example, water treatment and water waste.

Are there more interesting sectors?
The chemical, pharmaceutical and hospital sectors are major importers of raw materials. Furthermore, on the equipment level, Morocco is undertaking a comprehensive modernization of its hospitals and the equipment.

Isn´t there a crisis in your country?
Only sectors related to export are suffering very much such as textiles or footwear.

Does the construction works well?
Yes, there are many Spanish companies which came after the fall of the sector and found a good place to work here in Morocco. And in addition, the Government runs a very ambitious project which affect this sector.

For example?
The Government has projected the construction of seven spa areas to be ready in 2020, with hotels, resorts and leisure. And the Government is also working on social housing.

Which plans give you a drive?
There is a problem because of immigration from the countryside to the cities. These areas have grown along with the factories. The Government plans to remove these settlements by offering affordable housing. And providing support to buyers if they show a low level of income and living in a shack.

This project also aims as an upgrade of the country?
The Government wants to renovate the entire agro-industrial system, so it was subdivided into grants to establish risks and wells and to facilitate purchase of tractors. We want a green Moroccan and with a modern European style. Do not bet on a little garden, this one will go down in history.

Is Morocco an easy country to invest in?
We are an open, young and very accessible country. And we are open to foreign investment. Proof of this is that the government opened regional offices in 2005 to support all companies which decide to invest in our country.
